Our Purpose

Who is MG Foundation International?

Our foundation was established in 2023 in honor of Miguelina Gonzalez, an educator for over 30 years and a dedicated midwife in her community. She left Peru in 2001, but her spirit of service continues to inspire our work.

We know that giving starts at home, and we’ve often been asked, What have we done for our own communities? While we’ve faced challenges in securing support, we remain committed to our mission of helping communities everywhere—both locally and globally.

Our Impact So Far:

✅ CASA – Helped furnish a room for a child in foster care.

✅ Provided housing & financial assistance for individuals in crisis.

✅ December 2023 – Teacher Christmas Giveaway:

• Supported four teachers by fulfilling their classroom wishlists.

• Schools impacted: Carrollton High School (Science & REACH), Central High (Special Ed), Unity Elementary (Meriwether County).

✅ Carroll County Family Connection – Sponsored a class to support families in suicide prevention.

✅ Carroll County Advocacy Center – Provided Spanish interpretation services for families.

✅ April 2024- Granted 3 ($500) scholarship to Carrollton High School Students 

✅ October 2024 – Fed 200+ homeless individuals in Atlanta.

✅ December 2024 – Teacher Christmas Giveaway:

• Expanded to Virginia and multiple Georgia schools! ( Carrollton Upper Elementary, Atkinson Elementary School)

✅ 2025 – Sponsoring University of West Georgia Study Abroad Food Tour in Peru!
